Data deletion

If you have connected an Instagram or TikTok account to contentmarkt, you can request deletion of data associated with that connection at any time. YouTube may be an eligible platform for a campaign submission or publication; however, the current product does not offer YouTube account connections.

  1. Send an email to datenschutz@axelspringer.de with the subject “Datenlöschung”.
  2. Please state the platform, your username or user ID and, if available, the email address used with contentmarkt.
  3. We may request further information to verify that the request relates to your account.
  4. After successful verification, we assess whether and which data stored by contentmarkt can be deleted, such as your verified account connection, connected account identifiers, submitted content and its measurement data. We consider statutory retention obligations, fraud prevention, settlement and dispute documentation. Access tokens for a connected login are held exclusively in your own encrypted browser session; they are not stored on contentmarkt's servers.

We review deletion requests in accordance with applicable data protection law. Revoking a platform authorisation does not itself constitute a deletion request for data stored by contentmarkt.

Connected apps

You can also revoke access for connected Instagram and TikTok accounts directly in the relevant platform's settings. Disconnecting prevents future API retrieval, but does not constitute a deletion request for data already stored by contentmarkt; you can additionally submit the deletion request described above.

If you connected an Instagram or TikTok account to contentmarkt, you can request deletion of data associated with that connection at any time. YouTube may be an eligible platform for a campaign submission or post, but the current product does not offer a YouTube account connection.

  1. Send an email to datenschutz@axelspringer.de with the subject "Data deletion request".
  2. Include the social platform, your username or user ID, and the email address used for contentmarkt, if available.
  3. We may ask for additional information to verify that the request relates to your account.
  4. After verification, we assess whether and which data contentmarkt stores can be erased, such as your verified account binding, connected-account identifiers, submitted content and its measurement data, taking account of legal retention, fraud prevention, accounting, and dispute documentation. Access tokens for a connected login are held only in your own encrypted browser session and are not stored on contentmarkt's servers.

We review deletion requests in accordance with applicable data-protection law. Revoking a platform authorization does not itself submit a deletion request for data stored by contentmarkt.
